About the event
At any given time in our community, several people that we know are struggling with mental health challenges. Many of us know of at least one person who died by suicide or who is currently challenged by trauma, addiction, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, psychosis, and other maladies.
The mental health crisis is a complex problem requiring a complex solution. Not any single resource or answer will suffice by itself. However, one particularly powerful resource that can significantly help is “Mental Health First Aid” training. By learning “Mental Health First Aid”, everyday people in our community can learn the tools needed to reach out to those who are struggling, so they can support and connect them to the professional help they so desperately need, and in time.
Anybody of any age can make a difference and lend a hand to those struggling with mental health challenges, if done in the right way. Avi Tenenbaum, an expert in Psychological First Aid and Mental Health First Aid trainer & instructor in Israel, will explain in this webinar how learning Mental Health First Aid can make an impact today.
